As a WLN Reporter, you will have the opportunity to:

How to Become a WLN Reporter
No prior journalism experience is required. All new reporters begin by completing our Street Journalism Training Programme — an online, self-paced course designed to give you the essential skills to report accurately, ethically, and effectively.
About the Training Programme
- Learn the fundamentals of journalism, from writing news stories to understanding ethics
- Develop skills in mobile journalism, interviewing, and digital storytelling
- Gain hands-on experience through practical assignments and mentorship
- Receive a WLN Street Journalism Certificate upon completion
Please note: This is not an academic qualification or diploma, but a community-led initiative designed to train volunteer reporters for West London News (WLN).
