The West London NHS Trust Health Visiting Advice Line Team is offering a complementary free online workshop titled ‘The Do’s and Don’ts of Fighting a Fever’ on Tuesday, 18 November 2025, from 10:30am to 11:30am. This session targets parents and carers of children aged four and under.

Led by the Health Visiting Advice Line Team, as covered by West London NHS Trust communications, the interactive workshop will address common parental questions such as:

  • Should you really feed a cold and starve a fever?
  • How high a fever is too high?
  • When is it necessary to contact your GP practice?

Parents and carers will be given clear guidance on managing fever safely at home and recognising when to seek medical help. The online event can be accessed through the NHS Teams platform.
